Is the first in Lalacuna’s MAYDAY releases, a series of Black + White forty page pocket books. In which the author can do whatever they so wish within the confines of the allocated size, space and structure.

Joe Barnes, a documentary street photographer was born in Kendal, Cumbria in 1985. He grew up in Lancashire before going on to study the History of Art at Goldsmiths College, London.

This collection is shot in London on 35mm Tri-X film. His work is influenced by Paul Trevor, Chris Killip and Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen.
